My name's Merle and for the past 18 months as some of you know I have been putting together a list of personal recipes to help beat the credit crunch, or what's now termed the recession.
I hate the "R" word but there's little denying that in 2009, we will be hearing this depressive term far too often.
Anyway, to get a head start in the kitchen to help you cook some wondrous meals on a shoe string budget I have started this blog so as to list my latest frugal recipes which I've created so as to share them with you.
FYI, one such book which has helped me immeasurably was Delia's Frugal Food
, which I bought on Amazon recently for a steal and has proved extremely useful.
